Time taken: All together... counting the drawing, the lineart and coloring... maybe a whole day? could be longer...
Programs used: SAI, Paint.net, Photoshop CS4, and paint

Any ideas on how I should shade it...? D:

i always found the easy way to shade is to get a new layer (if useing photoshop) and take black and go over everywhere you want to shade and then reduce the trans to about 20% and then erase the extra

thats whay i do anyway and it works really well i hope that helps and that is what you ment.
